Trevor Lawrence Throws Three Picks In Surprise Start
12 months agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 28-of-50 passes for 257 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in a 31-27 loss at Cleveland. Just six days after suffering a high-ankle sprain, Lawrence was surprisingly active for this game and hit a season-high in attempts. With the Browns shutting down the ground game, the former first-overall pick had to air it out more often than not and it led to several mistakes. Lawrence was able to salvage his fantasy day with two fourth-quarter touchdowns that helped him break the 17-point threshold for the fourth straight game and sixth time this season, but it was mostly a forgettable day for the young signal caller. It doesn't get any easier next week with the Ravens coming to town, but hopefully Lawrence will be healthier for that tough matchup.
