Trevor Larnach Belts First Career Home Run
4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach hit the first home run of his career in Thursday's victory over the Los Angeles Angels. Larnach tacked on an insurance run in the seventh inning, swatting a fastball 397 feet into the right-field seats at an exit velocity of 102.2 MPH. The 24-year-old has produced eight hits so far, and half of them have been for extra bases. Larnach ranks in the 98th-percentile in max exit velocity and currently owns a 47.4 percent hard-hit rate. He can hit, and he's certainly proved himself worthy of a roster spot, though it will be interesting to see what happens when Alex Kirilloff (wrist) returns.
