Trevor Bauer Hurt By Home Run Ball In Loss
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Trevor Bauer picked up his third loss of the season in a good outing versus the Houston Astros on Wednesday. Bauer went six innings and allowed four hits, two runs, four walks and three strikeouts. The three strikeouts were a season-low for Bauer and it was the third time this season that he has allowed four free passes in an outing. Bauer was hurt by the long ball in this contest and both of his runs came off of solo dingers by Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa. Managers have no reason for panic and Bauer is now 5-3 with an impressive 2.07 ERA. Bauer will look to get back in the win column versus the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday.
