3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (leg) was seen running on a side field during Wednesday's practice. He has been sidelined for about a week with an unspecified leg injury, but it appears he is trending towards returning to practice. When he first suffered the injury, Saints head coach Sean Payton said he didn't expect the injury to be long-term. With all the Michael Thomas (ankle) drama surrounding the team, it seems likely that Smith will be the team's No. 1 receiver for a good amount of the year. He has yet to flourish when given a No. 1 receiver role with the team, but he's still a great value in fantasy leagues as he's being drafted as WR60 right now.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
