Trent Grisham Homers In Blowout Loss
3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. Facing a 15-2 deficit, Grisham provided a ninth-inning tater to send fantasy managers home happy in an awful game for the Friars. The 24-year-old continues his strong campaign, slashing .274/.360/.502 with 11 homers, seven steals and 66 runs-plus-RBI over 250 plate appearances. If Grisham hadn't missed nearly two months with leg injuries, it's possible he would've already vaulted into the premium OF2 class. Pending health, his breakout should continue after the All-Star week.
