Trent Grisham Crushes Two Homers
3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham went 2-for-3 with two homers and five RBI Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds. Grisham carried the Friars back from a 4-0 deficit with a solo shot in the second frame before launching a grand slam in the fifth. He was unable to do more damage as the Friars were granted a 7-5 victory after a lengthy rain delay. The 24-year-old owns a .281/.365/.526 slash with 10 homers, seven steals and 59 runs-plus-RBI over 219 plate appearances. Although Grisham's sustained two lengthy absences from leg injuries, his 145 wRC+ shows his value to both the Friars and fantasy managers. He should remain a solid OF2/3 as long as he remains in the lineup.
