1 day agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner (back) is not in the team's lineup for their home-opening series against the Colorado Rockies. Turner has been limited to just one outing thus far while experiencing back spasms that have held him out for three straight contests. Fortunately, the 31-year-old was seen taking ground balls on Monday. He noted that he was feeling better and that he hoped to play again on Wednesday. Turner has no hits in his first four at-bats but has been a good bet for four-category production when he's healthy. Teammate Edmundo Sosa projects to continue filling in at shortstop while the veteran is sidelined.--Alex Ciulla
