Trea Turner Stays Hot on Saturday
6 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner had another productive day at the plate on Saturday against the Miami Marlins. Turner went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases. The two steals give him 24 on the season. Over his last three games, the 25-year-old is 7-for-17 with a double, triple, home run and four runs scored. Turner has managed to stay healthy this season, but his .267/.338/.412 line is a bit disappointing. However, this mini hot streak could be a sign of big things in the second half. Continue to be patient with the star shortstop.
