1 year agoOn Saturday, Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner nailed two homers in the eighth inning, topping the Nationals 12-3. The Phillies scored all their 12 runs in three separate innings, with three in the seventh, eight in the eighth, and one in the ninth frame. Turner's dingers were the first and last runs in the eighth. The 30-year-old seems to be moving past his offensive struggles this season, as he has posted a .380 batting average and hit four homers while collecting 11 RBI in the last 13 contests.
