Trea Turner Reaches Base Three Times Against Astros
4 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner had a strong day at the plate in Friday's 10-9 win over the Astros. Turner went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and a run scored, giving him seven walks, four hits, and a stolen base in 11 Grapefruit League games. The 27-year-old had an excellent campaign in the shortened season, posting double-digit homers and steals for the fifth year in a row while batting .335 with 40-plus runs and RBI. Turner placed in the 90th percentile or better in expected batting average, strikeout rate, and sprint speed. He's a legitimate five-category contributor and a great anchor for fantasy teams at his first-round ADP.
