1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner is getting the day off on Saturday against the Chicago Cubs. Turner has yet to sit out of a game this season so this is a much-needed breather for the 29-year-old dynamo. Edmundo Sosa is starting at shortstop and batting ninth against Jameson Taillon and the Cubs. Turner has been a pretty big letdown here in the early going, slashing just .257/.302/.390 with five home runs, 10 RBI, and five stolen bases across 187 at-bats. He could get hot at any time so fantasy managers will obviously stick with him but it's safe to say he hasn't lived up to expectations thus far.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
