Trea Turner Homers Twice, Steals Base Thursday
Trea Turner stuffed the stat sheet Thursday, going 3-for-5 with two homers, three RBI, three runs scored and one stolen base in a 9-8 loss to the San Diego Padres. The first-time All-Star has delivered on his first-round value, posting 17 homers, 42 RBI, 56 runs and 19 steals with a .321/.368/.532 line through 82 games. Turner's 47.4% hard-hit rate also represents the best mark of his seven seasons in the majors. The 28-year-old will surely blow past his season-high in homers of 19 and is one of the best assets in fantasy baseball.

Trea Turner Blasts Go-Ahead Home Run
Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk, and two runs scored on Wednesday. His homer came in the top of the ninth inning against Braves closer Raisel Iglesias, propelling the Phillies to a 4-3 win over Atlanta. It was Turner's first home run of the season, and he is now slashing .281/.395/.406 with six runs and four stolen bases. The power has been the only thing that has been missing in the early going, and the superstar figures to once again be one of the best shortstops in fantasy in 2025.

Trea Turner Returns To Wednesday's Lineup
Trea Turner (back) is back at shortstop and is hitting leadoff on Wednesday against the visiting Colorado Rockies and left-hander Kyle Freeland at Citizens Bank Park. It will be only Turner's second start of the season while battling lower-back spasms, but he entered late in the game as a pinch-hitter on Monday and appears to be fine moving forward, so fantasy managers should be looking to get him back in their starting lineups. The 31-year-old three-time All-Star and former National League batting champion has gone 0-for-4 so far with a run scored, two walks and a strikeout in his six plate appearances. Although he's hit only .212 in 33 career at-bats against Freeland in his career, Turner does have a .763 OPS with two home runs and four RBI against the southpaw.

Trea Turner Appears As Pinch-Hitter On Monday
Trea Turner (back), who was out of the starting lineup for the third straight day on Monday against the Colorado Rockies due to back spasms, appeared as a pinch-hitter in the seventh inning and walked before scoring the go-ahead run in the 6-1 victory in the team's home opener. Turner is expected to miss another game on Tuesday against Colorado, but he's clearly feeling better and is expected to return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's contest. The 31-year-old veteran is still searching for his first hit of the 2025 season after going hitless in his first six plate appearance with two walks, a strikeout and a run scored in just two games (one start). Fantasy managers will want to check back later on Tuesday to see if he's back in there, but most likely he won't be available again until Wednesday's game.

Trea Turner Still Out With Back Spasms
Trea Turner (back) is not in the team's lineup for their home-opening series against the Colorado Rockies. Turner has been limited to just one outing thus far while experiencing back spasms that have held him out for three straight contests. Fortunately, the 31-year-old was seen taking ground balls on Monday. He noted that he was feeling better and that he hoped to play again on Wednesday. Turner has no hits in his first four at-bats but has been a good bet for four-category production when he's healthy. Teammate Edmundo Sosa projects to continue filling in at shortstop while the veteran is sidelined.
