Trea Turner Goes Hitless In Win Sunday
3 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner went 0-for-4 with a walk in a 5-0 win over the Giants on Sunday afternoon. It was his second straight game in which he was held without a hit, as he's been mired in a small slump over his last seven games, where he is slashing .214/.290/.214 with two RBI and two runs scored. Managers shouldn't be too alarmed though, as Turner's .280 xBA currently ranks in the 83rd percentile. He'll try to break out of this funk in Monday's series opener with the Pirates.
