Trea Turner Goes 2-For-4 In Sunday's Loss
3 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles in the team's 3-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. The two singles were his first hits of the series as he went 0-for-5 with two walks over the prior two games. Turner has had a strong month of May overall, slashing .318/.364/.473 with seven stolen bases. However, he's in a bit of homer drought right now. His last home run came on May 17. There's nothing to be worried about for Turner. He currently has the highest hard-hit rate of his career (45.2%) and he should continue to dominate in batting average and stolen bases while we wait on the power to numbers to increase.
