Tre Flowers Joins Falcons Cornerback Room
2 years agoFormer Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Tre Flowers is set to join the Atlanta Falcons on a one-year deal. The 27-year-old corner brings much-needed depth to the Falcons' cornerback room. Rising star AJ Terrell and former No. 3 overall pick Jeff Okudah are slated to be the starting cornerbacks in the base defense for Atlanta, but Mike Hughes and Flowers could be the next men up after Atlanta released former Pro Bowler Casey Hayward. Flowers, a fifth-round pick in 2018, has totaled 259 tackles, 20 pass deflections, and four interceptions in six NFL seasons.
