Trayce Thompson Snaps Skid, Homers Against Padres
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Trayce Thompson snapped a 1-for-18 skid on Saturday afternoon, as he went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a stolen base. It was Thompson's third home run of the spring, as he improved his triple-slash line to .212/.257/.485 over 10 games. Thompson has struggled in limited playing time over the past two seasons, as he has yet to repeat his 2018 performance in which he hit 13 home runs with five steals in 80 games. In deep, NL-only formats he might be worth taking a look at, but for most managers Thompson should not be considered an option until he can show consistency at the plate.
