Travis Shaw Homers In Game 162
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Travis Shaw homered in a crucial game Sunday versus Detroit. Shaw would score twice and drive in one (on his solo HR) in the victory. Shaw now has 32 HR to go with 86 RBI to shore up an offense that already has an MVP candidate in Yelich and a WAR leader in Cain. Shaw is not a league-winner, especially with a .241 batting average, but he is useful in a wide variety (in terms of depth) of leagues. The Brewers will play one more game that will count as a regular season game so technically there is still time to add to his power total while most of his competitors are finished.
