5 months agoPhiladelphia Flyers right wing Travis Konecny has signed an eight-year contract extension. The team locked him up on a long-term deal for $70 million. Konecny's contract will count $8.75 million against the salary cap and will kick in from the 2025-26 campaign. While injuries have held him back, Konecny has still produced back-to-back 60-point seasons and enjoyed a career year in 2023-24. The prolific winger scored 33 goals and had 68 points in 76 outings. Konecny is in his prime at 27 and should provide plenty of value to fantasy managers for years to come.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
