Travis Konecny Has Big Afternoon On Friday
6 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny helped lead the way in grabbing his team a 4-0 victory against the New York Rangers on Friday, scoring a goal and registering a pair of assists. Additionally, the 21-year-old posted a plus-three rating, two shots on net and even a fight in just 13:02 of ice-time. Konecny has been flourishing on the Flyer's top line with Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier and has now posted six points (three goals, three assists) in his past three games. The shifty forward demonstrated his ability to bury the puck in his first two NHL seasons (35 goals in 151 games) and is starting to find a groove once again. Considering Konecny is just 44% owned in Yahoo! leagues and carries triple position eligibility (C, LW, RW), now might be the time to add him.
