Travis Homer Set For Backup Role In Week 15
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer will operate as the team's backup, with starter Kenneth Walker III (ankle) removed from the injury report. Homer logged 48 snaps in last Sunday's loss to the Panthers with both Walker and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) inactive. The 24-year-old rushed nine times for 26 yards and caught two of three targets for eight yards in the Week 14 loss. Homer will serve as Seattle's RB2 and fill in during passing-down situations. Depending on the status of Dallas, Homer is a boom-or-bust PPR flex for Week 15 against the 49ers.
