Travis Etienne Jr. A Must Start In Week 1 Against Miami
2 months agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. should be a set-and-forget running back for fantasy managers in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins and beyond after finishing as the RB3 in total points last year. The Dolphins were decent against the run in 2023, but there is no reason for managers to overthink putting Etienne in their lineup. The 25-year-old running back should be an RB1 and a must-start each week once again. Especially if the Jaguars' offense improves with another year of Trevor Lawrence and improved field stretching from new acquisitions wide receivers Gabe Davis and Brian Thomas Jr. Jacksonville's offensive line ranks 23rd in the NFL according to PFF, meaning lower efficiency could cap the Clemson product's upside. Still, as one of the rare bell cows in the league today, Etienne's floor is exceptionally high. Fantasy managers should start the Jaguars RB confidently as he goes into Week 1 ranked as RotoBaller's RB8.
