Travis d'Arnaud Reinstated From Paternity List
3 years agoThe Atlanta Braves reinstated catcher Travis d'Arnaud from the paternity list on Tuesday. Fellow catcher William Contreras was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. d'Arnaud landed on the paternity list on Saturday and wound up missing three games. The 32-year-old missed about three months due to a torn thumb ligament before finally returning to action on August 11. He has only played in 29 games this year and has slashed .236/.293/.406 with four home runs and 17 RBI.
