Trae Young Starts Season With 19 Points, 14 Assists
3 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young opened the season with a 19-point, 14-assist effort in a 113-87 win over Dallas, shooting 6-for-16 from the field with a 2-for-5 mark from outside while hitting all of his five free throws. He added two rebounds to his tally and had one steal with five turnovers in 33 minutes. There are high hopes for the Hawks this season, and Young is expected to lead the charge. He could very well end up being a walking double-double since he's got a lot of passing options. Young is set for another nice performance this week, with the Hawks visiting Cleveland on Saturday. The Cavaliers had an awful start defensively, giving up over 130 points to the Grizzlies.
