Trae Young Scores Game-High 34 Points In Sunday's Win
4 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young posted his fourth 30-point effort of the month on Sunday, leading all scorers with 34 points on 9-for-21 shooting in a 129-117 win over Indiana. He struggled to get his shots to drop but was a decent 3-for-9 from behind the arc and shot 13-for-14 from the line. Young notched his 24th double-double of the season with 11 assists and added a pair of steals with two turnovers in 35 minutes. The 2020 All-Star had only 15 points in the previous game, and he's always managed to bounce back well from poor performances this month. Young's inconsistency must be infuriating for fantasy managers, but you can't doubt his ability. He'll try to show it next against the Magic, who own the fifth-worst defensive record in the league against opposing point guards.
