Trae Young Records 20-Point, 14-Assist Double-Double
4 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young was in a double-double mood on Wednesday, finishing an overtime loss against the Knicks with 20 points and 14 assists. He added four steals and two rebounds to his line with one turnover while shooting 6-for-17 from the field and 7-for-7 at the line. Young's inconsistent performances from behind the arc continued with a 1-for-4 effort. The 22-year-old sharpshooter has improved his three-point efficiency a bit this month compared to March, but it's still at a lowly 34 percent. As a point guard, Young gets the worst matchup possible next when Atlanta hosts Miami on Friday. The Heat are allowing a league-low 20.9 points per 48 minutes to opposing point guards this season, limiting them to 41.1 percent shooting.
