He went 5-for-11 from downtown and 4-for-5 at the charity stripe with seven assists, four rebounds, and one steal. Young has now dropped 28-plus points in five straight games. However, his streak will be under a serious threat on Friday, as Atlanta faces a Thunder team that's limited point guards to 40.6 percent shooting this season, and they are giving up the eighth-fewest points in the league to the position.

Young dropped out of the lineup on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a left quadriceps contusion he suffered over the weekend. However, the injury won't keep him sidelined this evening. The star point guard is averaging 24.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 11.7 assists per game since the All-Star break, and he will provide a massive boost for fantasy managers tonight against the Hornets.

Young dropped out of the lineup on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a left quadriceps contusion he suffered over the weekend. Keaton Wallace started at point guard against the 76ers, while Dyson Daniels took on more playmaking responsibilities. Daniels led the team with 25 points and nine assists. Wallace struggled with his shooting and notched seven points with six assists across 31 minutes. The two are likely to continue in expanded roles if Young doesn't return on Wednesday.

Trae Young Out Of Action On Monday
6 days agoAccording to Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network, Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (quad) is unavailable for Monday's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. The superstar point guard will miss his fifth game of the season due to a left quad contusion he picked up against the Pacers on Saturday. Caris LeVert or Terance Mann could move into the starting five with Young out. Both would be strong streaming options since LeVert dropped 26 points, three rebounds, one assist, and two blocks off of the bench in his last outing.
