Trae Young Enjoys 31-Point Outing Against Lakers
5 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young posted his sixth 30-point outing of the season on Sunday, finishing a 122-101 loss to the Lakers with 31 points on 11-for-22 shooting. He also had seven assists, three rebounds, and two steals in 39 minutes. Young has cooled down quite a bit since his spectacular start to the season, with poor three-point shooting being one of the biggest reasons for it. He went just 2-for-8 from downtown against the Lakers, which dropped his three-point percentage to 24 percent across the last three games. Things should go better for him next time out, though. Atlanta will play the Bucks, who are allowing the third-most points in the league to opposing point guards this season, giving up 3.5 three-pointers per 48 minutes. Only the Clippers have allowed more (3.7).
