Trae Young Completes Double-Double With Season-High 16 Dimes
4 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young dished out a season-high 16 assists in Monday's loss to the Lakers, adding a team-high 25 points to complete his ninth double-double of the season. Young shot 7-for-15 from the field, including 1-for-4 beyond the arc, and had a 10-for-11 record at the foul line, adding four rebounds and two steals with seven turnovers in 39 minutes. John Collins had an efficient night with 22 points and Clint Capela bagged another double-double with 16 points and 13 boards. Young will go head to head with Luka Doncic next in a fascinating matchup on Wednesday. Luka isn't known as a great defender, but the Mavs have done a good job against opposing point guards this season, limiting them to only 43.7 percent shooting and allowing the fifth-fewest points in the league.
