Trace McSorley Shows Inexperience In Loss
2 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Trace McSorley made his first career start against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The Cardinals are on their third string QB with Kyler Murray (knee) and Colt McCoy (concussion) both inactive. The 27-year-old certainly showed his inexperience during this game, including missed reads and bad passes that could've easily been intercepted. McSorley completed 24-of-45 passing attempts for 217 yards and one interception in the loss. The young quarterback also added 14 yards on seven carries in this game. The expectation is that McSorley will head back to the bench with McCoy likely clearing concussion protocol for next week.
