2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves designated right-handed pitcher Touki Toussaint for assignment on Saturday. The move was made to clear a roster spot on the 40-man roster for fellow right-hander Jay Jackson (back), who was activated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A. Toussaint first arrived in the majors as a promising prospect back in 2018. He pitched to a 2.38 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP over 136.1 innings split between Double-A and Triple-A in 2018. However, he's struggled to find consistency in the majors with a 5.46 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP across 49 appearances (21 starts).--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
