10 months agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) suffered a torn ACL on a brutal low hit by Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph in Sunday's wild-card loss, according to a source after results of Higbee's MRI came back. He'll now face a big challenge to be ready for the start of next season. "I don't have no intention to hurt no body and or harm their career," Joseph wrote on social media. The 31-year-old is now highly unlikely to be ready for the start of the 2024 regular season, and Davis Allen and Brycen Hopkins should be the top two candidates that could benefit from bigger pass-catching roles at the position in LA. In his eighth year with the Rams in 2023, Higbee caught 47 of 70 targets for 495 yards and only two touchdowns in 15 games. With rookie receiver Puka Nacua breaking out immediately, it was hard for Higbee to be much more than a touchdown-dependent, low-end TE1/high-end TE2 in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
