Tony Pollard Hopes To Keep It Up In Week 3
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard had an outstanding Week 2 and will look to keep it going in a Week 3 Monday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. In Week 1, the Cowboys went pass-heavy and Pollard saw just seven touches. In Week 2's run-heavy game plan though, Pollard saw 16 touches and clearly outplayed starter Ezekiel Elliott. While Pollard won't supplant Elliott as the starter any time soon, he's certainly shown what he can do with the ball in his hands and could continue to make this backfield much more of a timeshare than anyone expected before the season began. There's risk in starting Pollard in fantasy lineups because of his official spot on the depth chart, but there's plenty of potential reward as well. Weighing all of that, he comes in the RB3/4 range for Week 3.
