3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard was clearly the best back in a Cowboys uniform in a Week 2 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Pollard thoroughly outplayed nominal starter Ezekiel Elliot, falling behind in touches 16-to-18 but out-gaining him 109-to-71 on the ground and 31-to-26 through the air. The Cowboys unexpectedly employed a two-headed monster approach in the backfield and Pollard took every advantage given to him. It was an excellent game for the guy considered Elliott's backup. If Dallas continues with this approach, Pollard suddenly leaps into the RB2 ranks. The Cowboys will face the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 3.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
