Tony Kemp Hits Fourth Home Run Of The Year
1 year agoOakland Athletics outfielder Tony Kemp did something in Thursday night's 8-5 win over the Chicago White Sox that he normally doesn't do, hit a home run. Kemp finished the game 2-for-4 with a home run a double, RBI and two runs scored. Outside of his 12 stolen bases this year, fantasy managers haven't gotten much out of the 31-year-old, as he's hitting just .217/.305/.321 with four homers, 13 doubles, three triples, 24 RBI and 36 runs scored in 347 plate appearances and 100 games in his fourth year in Oakland. He's been a bit better in the month of August, though, going 7-for-28 (.250) with a homer, three doubles, three RBI and three runs scored in 14 games (eight starts). Kemp can continue being ignored in mixed fantasy leagues.
