Tony Gonsolin Looks Sharp In No-Decision
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin had his longest outing of the season in Friday's no-decision versus the Chicago Cubs. Gonsolin made his fourth start of the season and allowed one hit, one run, two walks and struck out a season-high seven in four innings. It was Gonsolin's best start since returning from the injured list. Gonsolin has allowed just one run in each of his four starts this season, but he hasn't been going deep into games. Although it would be nice to see Gonsolin go deeper in games, the right-hander should still be rostered and expected to see an increase in innings as he continues to work his way back after a shoulder injury. Gonsolin's next start will be versus the Washington Nationals on Thursday.
