Tony Gonsolin Lands On The 10-Day Injured List
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation. This could explain why the 27-year-old struggled mightily with his command in his previous start, yielding five walks over 1 2/3 innings. The severity of Gonsolin's injury is unknown at this time, but the Dodgers' right-hander will miss at least the next 10 days. Gonsolin owns a 2.78 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and a 42:26 K: BB across 35 2/3 innings in 2021. Fantasy managers in deep-league formats should continue to stash Gonsolin. Still, with the Dodgers acquiring Max Scherzer and Danny Duffy, it remains to be see if he returns to the rotation once activated from the 10-day injured list.
