New York Jets restricted free-agent safety Tony Adams signed his restricted free-agent tender on Friday and will return to the organization for a fourth straight season in 2025. Adams had his second straight 80-plus-tackle season in 2024 with 84 total tackles (42 solo), his first career sack, an interception and six pass breakups in 15 games played (11 starts). The 26-year-old defensive back has become a key member of the secondary the last two years, having recorded a total of 166 tackles (96 solo), eight tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions and 11 pass breakups in 30 games (26 starts). Barring additions through the upcoming NFL draft, Adams should be expected to serve as New York's starting strong safety this fall. In his first year in the NFL in 2022, he played in just 11 games (one start) and had 17 tackles (10 solo).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
