Tomoyuki Sugano Exits Due To Cramping
1 day agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano (hand) was removed early during Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The right-hander was pulled out prior to the bottom of the fifth inning due to cramping in his hand. Before exiting, Sugano allowed, four hits, two earned runs, and struck out one batter across four innings of work. This doesn't sound like a serious injury, so Sugano should be fine to make his next start against the Kansas City Royals. The 35-year-old rookie is probably only worth rostering in deep leagues and AL-only formats right now.
