Tommy Pham Remains Out Sunday
1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Tommy Pham (groin) is out of the lineup for a second consecutive game on Sunday against Bobby Miller and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 35-year-old is suffering from a strained groin, but there's no word on if he'll need a stint on the injured list. Pham's been one of the best surprises in 2023, as he's slashing .271/.347/.476 with nine homers, 25 runs, 34 RBI, and 10 stolen bases across 71 games. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for more updates on his status. Mark Canha will take his place on the field and bat eighth. The veteran doesn't do anything special, but his .340 OBP and career .348 mark keeps him relevant in OBP leagues.
