Tommy Pham Records Two Knocks And A Steal
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham finished 2-for-4 with a stolen base and run scored Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies. After an awful April, Pham is 6-for-21 in May (.286 average), slashing .205/.321/.216 overall with zero homers, three steals and 12 runs-plus-RBI in 108 plate appearances. Despite a solid 66 percent barrel rate, Pham only has one extra-base hit all season. The 33-year-old should continue getting plenty of opportunities to narrow a wOBA (.247) that is nearly 100 points below his xwOBA (.338). His value at rock bottom, the chance for fantasy believers to buy low is now.
