Tommy Pham Exits Early On Thursday
1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Tommy Pham exited Thursday afternoon's game against the Chicago White Sox with what appeared to be a lower-body injury. Pham labored down the line while grounding into a double play to end the bottom of the third inning and was removed from the contest after taking the field in the top half of the fourth inning. Pham has dealt with a groin injury this season but it's unclear if this injury is related in any way. The veteran is hitting .272 with nine home runs and 11 stolen bases across 74 appearances on the season. Luis Guillorme took Pham's spot in the lineup in the two-hole.
