Tommy Pham Cranks Go-Ahead Blast In Comeback Win
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham played the hero in the team's 8-7 win over the Rockies on Friday. After Manny Machado was intentionally walked ahead of him with the game tied in the ninth, he took Wade Davis deep for a three-run shot for his first long ball of the season. Pham went 2-for-5 with four RBI and a stolen base in the contest and has settled nicely into the cleanup spot for the Friars this season. The 32-year-old is surprisingly leading the league with five steals, giving him the five-category value that is lauded for fantasy purposes. Pham will look to stay hot in the weekend series from Coors Field before heading back home for a series against the Dodgers on Monday.
