3 years agoSan Francisco Giants second baseman Tommy La Stella (Achilles) began his rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday. He went 1-for-3 with a single in the game. La Stella underwent surgery on his Achilles last October and is the midst of working his way back. The left-hander slashed .250/.308/.405 with seven home runs, 27 RBI and 26 runs over 77 games with the Giants last year. Once he's back in the majors, we should see him split time at the keystone with Thairo Estrada, who has a .247/.286/.376 slash line over 23 games this year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
