Tommy Kahnle's Absence Estimated At Three Weeks
7 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone provided the media with an update on reliever Tommy Kahnle, who is currently on the disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis. The 28-year-old also has tendinitis in his biceps and will be shut down from throwing for 10 days. According to Boone, the entire process, including rehab, will take about three weeks. Prior to his injury, Kahnle was 1-0 with a 6.14 ERA in his first full season with the Yankees. Last season, he became a major factor in the bullpen during the club’s postseason run.
