Tommy Hunter One Step Closer To Return
7 years agoThe most expensive reliever the Philadelphia Phillies acquired during the offseason is getting closer to returning. Tommy Hunter, previously with the Tampa Bay Rays, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury. This past weekend, however, he took part in an extended spring training game in Clearwater, Florida. The 31-year-old tossed 15 pitches and recorded four outs. While Hunter himself has admitted that he feels ready to return right now, the club will surely be more cautious. He’ll surely take part in at least one further outing before being activated.
