Tommy Edman To Return On Monday
3 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (ankle, wrist) is scheduled to come off the 60-day injured list to make his season and team debut on Monday for the start of a series against the Seattle Mariners at Dodger Stadium. Edman had offseason wrist surgery and recently suffered an ankle injury that has kept him from making his 2024 debut. However, he's finally on the cusp of a return for fantasy managers that have been stashing him all year. The 29-year-old should see most of his playing time in center field for the Dodgers, which is bad news for both Kevin Kiermaier and rookie Andy Pages, but Edman is also likely to be eased in to a regular role given his long layoff. In five minor-league rehab games at Triple-A Oklahoma City, Edman has gone 5-for-15 with a home run.
