Tommy Edman Hits Two Home Runs In Wednesday's Win
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder Tommy Edman hit two solo home runs in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Chicago White Sox. Edman went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. His first homer came in the third inning and his second in the eighth. It could have been a huge game for the Cardinals leadoff hitter, but unfortunately the bases were empty every time he came up to bat. Edman has four home runs to go with a .275 batting average and a .723 OPS. He's not the ideal leadoff hitter, but he's likely the best option the Cardinals have so he should continue to hit in that spot.
