New York Giants quarterback Tommy Devito picked up another win as a starter on Monday Night Football, throwing for 158 yards and a touchdown, plus 71 rushing yards on 10 carries. The Giants led for the majority of the second half until just over a minute and a half remaining in the game. The undrafted rookie then led a game-winning field goal drive. The legend of DeVito grows game by game. Still, the story is more about his grittiness and finding ways to win, rather than outrageous stat lines. 150 passing yards and one score won't move the needle for fantasy managers. DeVito will still be outside the QB2 range when the Giants visit the Saints on Sunday.--Andrew Ball - RotoBaller

New York Giants exclusive-rights free-agent quarterback Tommy DeVito will sign his tender at some point this weekend, sources tell The Bergen Record's Art Stapleton. DeVito will be the only current QB on the Giants' roster with free agency kicking off next week. DeVito has played in 12 games, including eight starts, for the G-Men the last two seasons, but he's expected to continue in a depth role in 2025. The Giants swung and missed in their attempt to trade for Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford last week, but they are fully expected to sign or trade for a veteran signal-caller while also drafting a young QB in this year's draft. Reports suggest that they could be one of the most aggressive teams in trying to trade up for the No. 1 overall pick this year. The 26-year-old DeVito went 31-for-44 for 257 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in his three games (two starts) in 2024.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito (concussion) cleared concussion protocol on Friday and has been removed from the injury report, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. Meanwhile, fellow quarterback Drew Lock (heel, left elbow) practiced again and has also been removed from the injury report, as expected. The Giants intend to start Lock at quarterback in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons, which means that DeVito will return to the backup role. Lock has completed just 51.9 percent of passes through two starts with just 405 yards, zero touchdowns, and three turnovers. On a more positive note, he has flashed impressive mobility with 116 rushing yards on nine attempts. Lock has also shown that he can support strong production from the Giants' receivers, including Malik Nabers, who caught 13 of his 23 targets for 148 yards through Lock's two starts. Fantasy managers should view Lock as a high-end QB3 option this week.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito (concussion) was participating in drills at practice on Wednesday, so he's on track to clear the league's concussion protocol by Sunday in order to serve as the backup to starter Drew Lock in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons. DeVito made the first start after the team parted ways with Daniel Jones in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but a right-forearm injury forced him into a backup role the following two weeks before he made his second start in place of the injured Lock in the Week 15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The 26-year-old then suffered a concussion on Sunday, but he appears to be making good progress and could be cleared for a backup role this weekend. The second-year signal-caller underwhelmed in his two starts before getting hurt and will be New York's backup as long as Lock can remain healthy through the final three weeks. UPDATE: DeVito was limited on Wednesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

According to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team, New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game with a concussion. DeVito sustained this injury during the second quarter. As a result, veteran Tim Boyle will get the start for the remainder of the game. Before his early exit, DeVito went 10-for-13 with 68 yards. He was sacked two times and did not get on the scoresheet. Fantasy managers in Superflex formats should monitor DeVito's status after today's game as he may miss an extended period of time.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
