Tom Wilson Exits With Injury
37 seconds agoWashington Capitals right wing Tom Wilson (face) exited Tuesday's contest early after being struck in the face by a puck. Wilson has a "huge gash on his upper lip" and will likely need "repairs." Before exiting the game, Wilson logged just over 15 minutes of ice time and tallied two helpers. He logged one blocked shot and one shot on goal. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to their next game on Thursday evening against the Los Angeles Kings. Over his last five contests, Wilson has tallied at least one point in each game. During this span, he has scored three goals and added six helpers. Through 64 total games, Wilson has tallied 54 points with 16 of them coming on the power-play. If Wilson were to miss time, Aliaksei Protas would likely move up to the top line.
