Tom Hoge Having Trouble Off The Tee
1 year agoTom Hoge is known as an elite approach player that can get hot from time to time and make some putts. Ideally, a lot of those approach shots would come from fairways to make his life easier but that's not been the case always. Hoge isn't inaccurate among PGA Tour players (No. 79) but isn't very long either (No. 136). Olympia Fields tends to be better for players that either bomb the ball without regard for accuracy or shorter, deadly accurate drivers. Hoge is somewhere in between, which could explain why he was T65 in 2020.
